He began his career at renowned Dallas design firm Eisenberg and Associates, creating and managing their multimedia department.
After Eisenberg, Cort started a firm called PixelPress Interactive and ran that successfully until merging with traditional print design firm Focus2. After a serving as Director of Multimedia Development, Cort and some partners branched off and started Big Theory, a firm dedicated to on-line branding and e-commerce solutions for fortune 500 clients. He took the Executive VP and Director of New Media position and grew the company to over 60 people in 2 years. He managed enormous accounts for clients such as Whirlpool, Herman Miller, Fed Ex, Nokia, idSoftware, Neiman Marcus, National Geographic and others. Cort was also responsible for overseeing all the interactive design, motion graphics, and adver-gaming projects. The business was sold and Cort decided to move to the mountains of Colorado and continue bringing great design and interactive communications to life.
When not busy creating new motion graphics or interactive Web designs, Cort can be found enjoying the Colorado backcountry with his wife and son – fly-fishing, backpacking and skiing.
