If your site has the Image Gallery module configured, before you can start uploading and defining images in the CMS, you must first create an Image Gallery that will house such images. Below are the steps on creating an Image Gallery, repeat for as many galleries as you wish:
- Go to Administration -> Content Management -> Image Galleries
- A list of all current image galleries will be displayed. From here you can edit or delete galleries as you see fit.
- To add a gallery:
- Click the "Add gallery" tab
- Provide a unique name for the gallery and an optional description
- For the "Parent" select list, you can have galleries nested below other galleries or at the top of the hierarchy. Unless you're doing something special, just leave it defaulted to "<root>".
- In most cases you can ignore the "Weight" select list.
- Then click "Save".
- After you are done, proceed to the "How to create an Image" tutorial.
